The Flos Tatou Table Lamp features a diffused light design with an external polycarbonate diffuser and an injection-molded opal polycarbonate inner diffuser. The stem and support base are made of painted steel and the diffuser may have small imperfections due to the special processing of the plastic material. A table lamp where strength and delicacy come together. The French word Tatou translates to armadillo, a mammal with a hard shell. Similarly, the Tatou hood shields from direct light in the eyes, but at the same time is slim and lightweight. The lamp dimensions are 28 cm in diameter and 50 cm in height. It has an E27 fitting and is compatible with a 70W bulb. The lamp comes with a dimmer, but does not include the bulb or dimmer itself. Born in Oviedo in 1961, she developed her passion for the world of architecture and design at a very early age, aspiring to study them at the very best schools. Indeed, she attended courses in architecture and design at the University of Madrid and at Milan Polytechnic University, one of the best seats of learning for this sector in the world, and achieved excellent results; it was here that she graduated, presenting her thesis to one of the most famous architects and professors, Achille Castiglioni, who noted her particular passion and gift for this kind of work.
