Patricia Urquiola is one of Spain’s most important influential designers. Born in Oviedo in 1961, she developed her passion for the world of architecture and design at a very early age, aspiring to study them at the very best schools. Indeed, she attended courses in architecture and design at the University of Madrid and at Milan Polytechnic University, one of the best seats of learning for this sector in the world, and achieved excellent results; it was here that she graduated, presenting her thesis to one of the most famous architects and professors, Achille Castiglioni, who noted her particular passion and gift for this kind of work.
