With this philosophy and approach to design, they choose to work with various firms that have the same type of ideas in mind and work on a large scale such as Cappellini, Vitra, Axor, Magis, Kartell, Kvadrat, Mutina, Alessi, Mattiazzi, and many other interior furnishing manufacturers that produce designer projects for their many loyal customers and cult followers of this type of item. The studio simultaneously develops trials in the quest for daring cutting-edge objects that have bold, creative shapes and features. As an expression of creative freedom, they present their designs in temporary exhibitions that show off a real triumph of pure ideas. Some of their works have gone on to become a permanent fixture in many Modern Art or Design museums such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the MoMa in New York, the Boijamans Van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam and the Design Museum in London. Throughout the years they have continued to work on many architectural projects, for example in the construction and renovation of the interiors of many shops and buildings such as the Camper shops in Paris and Copenhagen, the Dos Palillos restaurant in berlin, The Floating House in Chatou, the ultimate atelier on water, a stimulating proposal for a dreamlike artist’s boathouse at the Cneai centre. Moreover, each of their designs and works, even the smallest one, is a work of micro-architecture able to promote personality and give new functions wherever needed. For the Bouroullec brothers, design is like music, an intense yet light-minded experience. Passion and stringency are the driving force behind the enormous success at international level of their brand.
