Guillaume Delvigne is a young designer born in France in 1979: He completed his studies at the Ecolede design Nantes Atlantique, after which he went on to study at Milan Polytechnic. After graduating in 2002 he started a productive partnership with Geroge J. Sowdden for two years and then moved to Paris.
In the magnificent French capital he worked as a freelance designer and started several profitable partnerships with various designers and stylists between 2004 and 2010, including Delo Lindo, Radi, Cedric Ragot, Elium Studio and Marc Newson.
Almost simultaneously he went ahead with other personal projects of his own, with industrial partners and certain publishers, including famous furniture and designer brands such as Made in design, Oxyo & Made in design, Tek import, Ricard Fly, Industrial campioni and finally Tefal, La Redoute and many others.
In 2011 he opened his own design studio and put on his first exhibition at the Tools Gelerie, and was bestowed the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris.
In the following years (2013), he put on two further successful exhibitions and completed several designs, including the Nouvelle Vague Volume 2 Milano and the Dessis de designer in Paris. More recently (2013-2014) he was involved with important creations and partnerships, such as Aérostat, Fabbian, Henric, Made in design, Suzanne,Bronco, Super-ette, HAL, La Chance, Swan, Ossature and lastly La Source.
The distinguishing features of this young designer’s style are the minimalist, essential yet bold lines he uses to create contemporary patterns and colours in furniture and furnishing accessories. One example can be found in his La Chance range of light fittings and furniture such as the novel contemporary table Circus (La Redoute), or the Woodmos Oxyo range designed 2012. The youthful spirit of this modern designer enriches every single creation he makes.
