Ailati was founded in 2005, by the Venetian designer Federico de Majo, with headquarters in the Treviso Province. The company produces ceiling, wall and floor lighting accessories. Ailati’s products are highly distinguishable thanks to their peculiar features. Federico De Majo’s design is very neat and clear-cut, and it is based on a combination of new technologies and artisanal know-how, typical of entirely Made-in-Italy products. By its own admission, Federico de Majo is not interested in passing fads or in colourful layouts; he prefers to focus on a precise and rigorous vision of his own design. Consistently true to his vision, he has created a wide range of uniquely elegant and timeless lighting objects. Ailati’s products can be placed in any residential environments; they are also ideal for offices and business environments, and they blend in well with any architectural style. Ailati’s lamps’ peculiarity lies in the use of polished or matte steel or aluminium stands, supporting three-layer opaline blown glass diffusers. A thin white glass layer is inserted between two clear glass layers, in order to emanate a perfectly diffused light, not excessively softened by white-coloured glass, illuminating any environment in a pleasant and decorative way.
