The Funiculì floor lamp by Marset features an essential design, which underlines its elegance. It’s a creation of the designer Lluis Porqueras, who, after 30 years, reinterpreted a model designed in 1979. What catches the eye is the absolute pureness of its shape, freed from any ornament, for a minimal visual effect. Its name recalls a funicular, because the height of the light beam can be lifted or lowered; it also features a 360-degree rotating screen, to direct the light beam. The floor lamp base and stem are made of lacquered aluminium. The base is covered with a rubber support. The lamp is available in a wide range of modern colours: red, black, white, musk grey and beige.
